The Villas Foodbank (Hove and Portslade) is our local open-to-all food bank. Open 10am-2pm Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. No referrals are required.
FOPA Christmas update 2020
At last some good news to report – Two important FOPA campaigns have reached successful conclusions.
Application for a block of four flats at the lower end of St.John’s Road, at the rear of 25-27 Adelaide Crescent
FOPA aims to monitor Planning and Listed Building Applications affecting our area, and will consider commenting on any that are contentious.
COVID-19 Help a neighbour

Break-in at the Seagulls (formerly Newstop) Store
A burglary occurred at the local corner store Seagulls on the 18/04/2020, breaking the glass and clearing out the tobacco and liquor stocks. Insurance only covers part of the loss – Dana and Elisabeth are now struggling can you help with a donation?
Libraries Customer Surveys
B&H Libraries have just launched a public survey which will run for 6 weeks, from Wednesday 26th February to Friday 10th April. This survey is larger than our normal annual survey as they want to get the public’s opinions on a range of services.
City briefing on Covid-19
Brighton & Hove City Council have provided an update on the evolving situation around Coronavirus (Covid-19) and the actions being taken in the city. Do you have friends or neighbours you could bring food to or run errands? This is a good reminder to all of us to check in on our neighbours even with a note or phone call.
Flower Festival at Lancing College
