By kind donation from B&H Council, 3 new trees have been planted, two adjacent to the Floral Clock in Palmeira Square (Liriodendoron Tulipifera and Sophora Japonica) and the third in the northern section of Palmeira Lawns (Acer Platanoides), as highlighted on the plan above.
These trees were donated via their ‘plant a tree with the tree trust fund’. For further details click on this link on the council website. Tree Trust – celebrate or commemorate by planting a tree (brighton-hove.gov.uk).
FOPA will ensure the new saplings receive sufficient water to flourish in their new environment, in support of the Council’s request.
