As some of you may have seen from the posters on lamp posts we are hoping to start a composting scheme. This would be under the auspices of Brighton and Hove Food Partnership.
To help answer any questions residents may have, or to understand the initiative with a view to getting involved, the Partnership has a wealth of community guides and information available on their website so we can appreciate the benefits, potential and positive impact that similar schemes have had across the city. In fact, here’s a useful composting FAQ page to provide a greater understanding to the project, answer any doubts, and highlight some of the aims that may be achieved if the scheme is properly maintained.
