A rather interesting addition to Adelaide Gardens is a temporary lake towards the south of the gardens. Perfect for amphibian dogs and seagulls, but not however, conducive to long-term garden management or health and safety! This appears to be due to bad drainage when we have excessive rain, but we we are waiting to hear what the council gardeners are planning to do as this is now becomming a recurrent problem. Anyone got any news or suggestions?
