Brighton & Hove’s bike share scheme launched on 1 September.
Palmeira Square is one of the selected locations for the bike docking station and this is in place on the traffic Island at the top of the square. With capacity for 13 bikes and newly dropped curbs it is proving easy to access and has become a success.
To use the bike you first need to sign up at https://www.btnbikeshare.com all the rates an further details on how it works are available here also.
When complete there will be 450 Social Bicycles, also known as SoBi smartbikes, available for hire in central Brighton & Hove stretching along Lewes Road towards Brighton University and the University of Sussex.
