Artful cycle thieves are once again operating in our area. Be sure to securely fasten and lock your bike if left outside, or even inside in public ways. Bicycle theft has for a long time been big business in our city, many being subsequently abandoned or left tied to railings and trees. The Council will eventually remove them if reported but it’s a long process. If you have to leave your bike outside, please use the parking frames which we have now got after much lobbying, though we could always use some more.
