The Friends of Palmeira and Adelaide’ (FOPA) is a residents association for Palmeira and Adelaide area and free membership is open to all who reside in the area. As a committee we meet 3-4 times per year and communicate on all matters throughout the year by email or working groups.
Joining allows you take part in your local community, and gives you a chance to participate in what happens in Palmeira and Adelaide. We have a wide range of activities from Social events, Championing issues with the Council that improve quality of life in the area, Engaging on precedent setting heritage issues, Community Policing liaison to Resident involvement in the Gardens and more.

New Communications/Membership Committee Member needed!
Currently we are in need of a new website/social media person. To create, update and manage the website content & site management along with our social media group and posts. All committee members take part in providing news items/ideas and this role has the ability to identify and create newsworthy stories. We aim to reach to as wide an audience with our articles.
