Hawkforce will be giving a presentation to our meeting at the Cornerstone Centre Saturday on 27th March. This company we responsible for the clearance of Trafalgar Square without the killing of any birds. Their Harris Hawks scare only pigeons and, by doing so regularly, break the nesting cycle in the area. It takes several months to do this, but once done the pigeons do not return. Song birds are not affected. Our survey gave a clear mandate to look at this and so we are making it a project for 2010.
